Four eyes(12%) is more than enough for RF to quickly activate Acid Rain.(There may be a few seconds between each target but it's not that big of a deal) Farm about four or six Green Basilisk Eyes(four for weapons and two as back up 'just in case') These should have a permanent spot in your Shared Stash.Įach Green Eye has a 3% Change to cast Acid Rain On Hit. Two Treasure Chests will appear that will have Basilisk Eyes. Kill a Basilisk Champion and you'll get an item to put into a giant skull eye socket next to the Basilisk Champion. One thing I learned long ago was to farm Green Basilisk Eyes from 'Bone Clutch' (Small Area found in Act 2 World Map 1). RF will proc just about EVERYTHING connected to the Weapons or Passives. It reduces all Armors(Physical and Elemental) of the target. But what about the elemental damage itself?įor example, if I slot an ice speck into, say, a shotgun, does it add that ice damage to the total damage per shot and then do a percentage of that entire total when using Rapid Fire? Or does it just calculate the normal damage and add the speck's flat ice damage on top of that? Or maybe it doesn't even do any elemental damage at all? Hopefully some of you guys can help me out.īy the way, on a somewhat related but more general note: what happens if you slot two or three different elemental damage types into a weapon? Does it do both types at once, or does it choose one to take precedence? Can it trigger both status effects at once on an enemy, or does it just choose the stronger status effect? Thanks in advance for your help and attention. I did a bit of testing on the practice dummy, and I can see that an elemental weapon can at least trigger elemental status effects while using Rapid Fire, like electrocution, for example. But what about a weapon that does innate elemental damage, or one that you slot an elemental speck or chip into?

I know it's kind of a specific question, but I'm also very new to this game (I own it on GOG from before I became a Steam convert, but I never got around to playing it much until now).Īnyway, I was able to find out that the Rapid Fire skill does trigger weapon effects such as blind, stun, etc., but it DOESN'T proc things like health steal, mana steal, etc. I did a lot of scouring the interwebs to try to find info on this question before bugging you guys with it, but I couldn't find anything on this issue in particular.
